Amen to that. Every time I see some disturbing story about a severely abused dog, cat or other "pet" I have to wonder just WHO the higher animal is. I also regret the lack of opportunity to meet these "people" and see if they have the stomach to put a cigarette out on ME as they did with a dog I saw on TV recently.
