Bush is just a figurehead and his death would probably not change much. It would probably make things worse actually. Cheney would be president, which is hardly an improvement, and all of the sudden it would not be PC to speak of Bush's inadequacies as a leader, thereby lending him instant credibility. Plus, his assassination would be used as an excuse to further erode our rights in the name of national security.
I agree, he is an embarassment though. I get the urge to kick in the picture tube every time I hear him speak on TV. And not because I disagree with his policies, I can handle disagreement. I just find it hard to believe that so many Americans are so gullible to actually believe that Bush deserved to be reelected.
