Er.... exactly at what point did I say that they were the antithesis of Christianity in that statement?! I didn't even bother to compare the two at all!! I merely pointed out the relationship the two cultures had in medieval european history as a basis for arguing that there is a specific historical context and reasoning by which the jewish stereotype of being "Moneyhandlers" could be explained!!
