I say you should read this sentence again. Neccissity is the "mother" of all inventions.
We are the great, great, great grand children of this process.
Survivail is the underlying drive. Can we survive without computer and all that other stuff. The anwser is of course we can. If we choose to return, to cave live 'living' condition.
But also as humans. We want ot 'improve' ourselfs and our lives.
So your the one 'thinking' in 21 century terms.
