Thanks for the laugh this morning, that really was funny - But, to be quite honest...I don't think I was going for convincing, I think I was just emphasizing the finality of that statement...It really all boils down to that, when I looked up 'marriage' in the dictionary, it specifically said it was a union between husband & wife...which I then looked up and they boiled down to man & woman. So, whether or not the government has a right to get involved with it, due to religion or the constitution is irrelevent, as long as they have the definition backing them, they can get away with not even touching the religious or the family aspect whatsoever...
If you think about it, It is actually is kind of creepy, same sex marriages...How do they announce them? "I now pronounce you husband & husband..." QUESTION MARK
