Anyway, the idea (as cited in the article) that economic growth must be halted to prevent further pollution, etc. is quite ludicrous. In effect, the idea is saying that we shouldn't bother trying to find better ways of doing things - this means that things will continue to be bad as they have ever been with no hope of repair of the areas that have already been polluted, for example. |
