The Magna Carta is the first document of British Common Law. The "system" has remained unbroken since the document was signed.

It is that body of laws and system of rule that is alive and well today - in slightly altered form - that is why I see the Empire as alive and well - it is.

Our legal system adopted British Common Law in the beginning to have case law and a working set of rules to conduct business.

We changed some semantics, but is essentially the same system.

We still access it in court cases. We can use case law going back centuries. History is not separated from today - it is a continuum.

I forget that not everyone has a law degree.

Sad. Everyone needs one in order to function today.

It is like trying to play monopoly with a master of the game and you don't know the rules.

You will not only lose - you will never even play the game.

Sad.

A lawyer is really equivalent to a Knight of the round table.

It was four of the Kings Knights that killed the Arch Bishop of Canterbury.

They do the dirty work for the king - lawyers do the same for the Attorney General - appointed by the President.

Lawyers who want to do civil rights work are considered black knights - and hated by our system.

My son and brother are black knights and fight half the time to keep their licence because the system is so evil.

That is true.

The bar association has co-opted the legal system as a result of Franklin Roosevelt and his stacking the LOWER Federal Courts with hacks that decimated the Constitution and led to the bureaucratic nightmare we have today.

Irony - he is sold to the dumb public as a hero to the common man - NOT.

He was patrician of the worst kind - a British Loyalist who saw himself as a king - not a president.

A 95 year old lawyer told me all about how in the 1950's the courts forced lawyers to join an obscure trade union called the bar association. It has steadily evolved into an arm of the government with all the powers that entails.

It is unconstitutional but it remains in place to weed out lawyers who would not screw you.

TRUE - I swear.

Empire?

It is an evil empire that better give up the killing and change to a good guy.

Right.
