I've had doubts concerning organized religion in its motives and teachings for some time.

After reading the DaVinci code in conjunction with the Dead Sea scrolls and other histories of religions atrocities, both actively involved in and passively ignoring other atrocities, I find I can no longer believe in anything resembling organized religion.

I've yet to understand the banal smiles of true believers, they obviously chose to believe only what someone else tells them from the pulpit.
