| I can't believe that election machines that were that flawed were allowed to be used in an election. At the very least they should have been standalone machines unable to connect to a network of any kind tabulating and storing results locally and producing a result locally (results should have to be called in by a human) and the source code for the machines should have to be made freely available. Electronic machines are ok to be used but only under these premises. Election software should also not be contracted out to a private company but created under an open source license and examined by both democrat and republican experts at the same time before deployment and afterwards to make sure the software has not been switched or altered in transit. It would not surprise me if the election has been altered but to prove it will be very difficult and the Bush administration will just deny all knowledge by the time anything gets done he will be three and a half years in and people will just go who cares hes not in this time. Concentrate on tightening up procedure for next time otherwise what will happen is at three and a half years of GWB's term you might even manage to get him impeached but you won't have fixed any holes in your security profile.
I wouldn't recommend sex, drugs and insanity for everyone, but its always worked for me.
