Is it true that the English paper the 'Guardian's letter writing campaign was focused in Ohio?

I have heard that one rural county went Republican. If thats the case then that letter writing campaign could have given Ohio to Bush.

Think about it, every vote for Bush as a result from that campaign could have been a vote for Kerry.

The margin would have been reduced and if not directly winning Ohio, could have narrowed the margin enough to where the provisionals could have come into play.

Those Brits - if true - what a stroke of genius. Gave Ohio and the election to Bush.

Has anyone else heard this rumor - about the letters in OHIO?
