When you give knee jerk answers like this one - "tough shit" - you only manage to frustrate the other party and increase the cycle of hatred and violence directed towards you. Sooner or later you too (or those like you) will be placed into a vulnerable position and that party wil respond "tough shit!" when your pathetic family will plead so that you won't get decapitated.
