i grew up in northern jersey, 30 minutes south of nyc.. i grew up in a multicultural environment where you naturally see all people as equal - initially at least, idiots can be found everywhere. i'd never live in the south. they represent the america that civilized americans would love to leave imo. (i have no love for rednecks.)
i agree scribs... the time wasted on vietnam was a killer. kerry's campaign could've done better - he spent too much time searching for his voice.
