As some of you may of heard today, astronomers have found a pretty big asteroid, that on impact could have an impact of 20 million heroshima bombs. Although its unlikely to impact earth around 909,000 - 1 chance (how they worked that out i dont know) it is kinda scary looking into the future at all these asteroids that could potentially ruin life on earth as we know it. I think there should be some sort of international program to take out such risky asteroids, the idea is not as pointless as we may come to believe. And in this world i dont think we can rely on bruce willis to drill a hole into an asteroid harder then any material we have here and to blow it in half perfectly with a nuke.
