Is being a child bliss?

Being innocent of the knowledge of good and evil - would that not be more comfortable?
Firstly the difference with childhood is not just about ignorance. In fact that is the lesser difference between childhood and adulthood.

Kids in their bliss do not have to worry about jobs, time schedules, bill collectors, obligations, and even responsiblity is still somewhat of a unlearned concept.
no, they have to worry about daily abuse, aka bullying, ongoing battles with teachers, boring days in school day after day, the desperate need for social approval, and various other things we just dont consider relevant.

Life is thus, a playground, a place to find fun things to do, to act out fantasy (for the kids).
your childhood sounds very different to mine. Very.

Becoming as a child again, is to know the bliss.
The difference between bliss and mesery is simply the evolution from childhood into adulthood.
being childlike in your adult years certainly does lead to misery, that much I'll grant you :)

But sometimes if you get old enough you can experience the 2nd childhood, and are converted back to that original state of mind.
Nobody likes that, though really its not particularly childlike.
