| Ghandhi's principles are about non-violent passive resistance. So his values are the same as the Dalai Lama. I respect that Ghandi was willing to live a life of hardship (after getting a law degree from the UK and attending his cocktail parties), but his principles basically tell people to sit there and take the bullshit.
Action speaks louder than passivness.
And don't we all oppose people who oppose our ideals? You do the same.
