Here is my view on Warez:

1. If there is a demo for a game, I will try the demo before I buy, if there is no demo, I will search the internet for a warez version to try it out. If I like it, I will go buy it. Two reasons I buy the game. I want to support the game makers and second, a lot of times the multiplayer aspects usually does not work with a warez version. I refuse to buy a game twice to put it on both my computers. If they have some CD key check I will either erase the game or find a crack. I should not have to pay for the game twice.

2. I am a graphic artist/webmaster/3d modeler. There is no way in hell I would be able to afford all the software, so I pirate it. I do not do any freelance work or make any profit off my my work from the pirated software, but I would not have the job I have today if I had not pirated software becuase I never would of had enough money to learn how to use them. I know there are student discounts, but I am not a student, never was. Everything I know is self tought. In all honesty I know what I am doing is illegal but I dont feel bad about it. If I was making money from this software I would buy it.

I know I am indirectly making money from my pirated software but I had to learn somewhere. Never had the money for school.

So to sumerise: If its a game and its good buy it. If its a application and you are making money from it, buy. Otherwise pirate on.

Thats just my humble opinion.
