If buddhist communities are examples of communism then communism does work, because those communities do work, I've been to a few and everyones happy. You may call it communism and you would be right. Remember though that the early christian community was a communist society. Read the Acts of the Apostles and you will see that. The early Christians were expected to give all their posession to the church and the church gave the wealth to each according to his or her needs. |
