| Actually, shows how much you know about what bullets do when they impact something. Bullets used for hunting usually are soft point or hollow point. Soft point bullets usually have exposed lead, and expand on impact - meaning that the meat hit by the bullet is rather tainted, not to mention any meat the bullet itself is caught in. Hollow point is similar, but more jacketed. If you want a clean meat taste, use FMJ, though that's probably going to go through the animal and a tree or two beyond it, meaning the animal's probably going to run away a few miles before bleeding to death.
For my taste, I'd rather you used a machete.
