Just what you posted in breif was news to me.
I will have to review the links you listed.
I can imagine some crazy stuff, like they give his dad a big fine and then they say "we can remove that fine if you do us a favor" (was that when the son was on crack or had a drinking problem, as rumored?). In the photo he looked like he had just been on a drug benge - the eyes would suggest that.
Perhaps some of the papers called Bush Jr and could not confirm that sceduled meeting and so they just dropped the story. Papers do that sometimes.
