How would he know? Does he have scientific staff available for such analysis? Wouldn't that be the purview of CIA or NSA or even the Defense Intelligence Agency. I think perhaps the real reason is that if NK DID detonate a nuke, the people might demand Bush do the same with Korea as he did with Iraq. A lot of people think we had every right to kick Iraq's ass because they still believe Iraq was a threat to the U.S., and if a loon like Kim starts waving a-bombs around we are going to feel REALLY unsafe REALLY quick. That, plus N. Korea being on the "Axis of Evil" list and all might bring public support for a REAL war Bush wants no part of (and I'd agree with him on THAT).[/b][/quote]
If North Korea gets the bomb and if they start throwing their weight around and if they continue to sell technology to enemies like Iran, then they would be our enemy. They would be a clear and present danger. This scenario is already partially fullfilled. Let the neocon cowards, who refused to pay attention to north Korea when they came into office, take up positions along the DMZ.
