And technosoul, 5 bombs does not weigh out any good news. That's the dumbest form of defeatism. Do you understand the difference between tactical failures and strategic failures?
And do you understand the difference between strategic victories and cosmetic ones, Comrade? Cool, schools are getting built, businesses are growing, mothers are happier. After over a year since "Mission Accomplished", one would hope to gawd we've achieved at least some of all the things we promised.

But strategically, Iraq remains a basketcase and will continue to do so. After a year, they still have no reliable electricity, phone service, oil production or even minimum security. Our allies and their foreign workers are being systematically driven out and violence remains the number one concern. As in Vietnam and the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan - in which we both constantly rattled off how wonderful life was for our wards - we can kill a million insurgents, they don't care. They simply need to keep the country in chaos and keep killing Americans, day after day after day, and nothing we do will stop them.

Oh, and by the way, regarding our OTHER 'successful' war...

Violent Afghan militants gaining control

I don't suffer from insanity... I thoroughly enjoy it
