| what i think of the "cup half full" argument... history is more full and nostalgic towards people who have been conquerors and tyrants than the scant few who have worked for peace and humanity. today, we have an ignorant fool who calls himself our war president.. i'm sure the aliens would view us as wild animals.
anyway.. i believe that aliens exist, but i don't think they'll colonize us or whatever. and i don't think that archaic programs like SETI would necessarily detect them even if they were close. if even one of these ufo accounts are real, then it's obvious that they're observing us. maybe making a hybrid species? who knows, and if they were, why?
imo, it's a race between humanity creating artificial intelligence which eventually surpasses humanity (animatrix style), or the aliens finally come to visit. |
