While this seems to confirm that memory is recovered by the same neurons that were activated when the event was first stored, it's still a ways from anyone being able to read our mind. If the scientists hadn't known what the stored event was, seeing the neurons recall the memory would have only told them that a memory was being recovered but not what that memory was.

Still, I too am fascinated by what we discover about the brain. I wonder how far we'll get using the brain to understand the brain.
