What a joke. The Olympics have never really been about the sports, but about rewarding totalitarian societies for pushing their youth like prized race horses.

To give some insight into what the Olympics are really all about, founder of the modern Olympics, Pierre de Coubertin, said that the 1936 Berlin games (the "Nazi" Olympics) had lived up to his highest ideals of what the Olympics should be, and that Hitler had "magnificently served, and by no means disfigured, the Olympic ideal."

Yeah, there's a guy we still want to be honoring...
