I also had a psychology lecturer once who tried to pass this wage gap off as evidence that society was prejudiced or discriminatory against women. Obviously nonsense, since women, doing the same jobs as men, get paid exactly the same wage. The simple fact is that women, entirely by their own choice, don't do the same jobs as men.
