| Why I am not surprised? Many, many people die in hospitals because of staff neglect and incompetence. I found out the hard way just how unsafe hospitals really are. My husband survived aortic dissection surgery, but died 13 days later of cardiac arrest caused by an incompetent nurse. He was in the coronary critical care unit in a very good hospital. His bed was right next to the nurses station. There was no way the staff could have missed the alarms going off. (unless they were turned off) I was told he was "found" with no blood pressure. I was also told three weeks after his death (by an ER nurse who was there when he coded) it took an hour to locate the doctor. The hospital "lost" all but 16 pages (out of 364) of his medical records. When I mentioned "lawyer", the records were suddenly found... that day. The blood analysis (drawn shortly before his death) documentation had been blacked out.
If I'm the only witness to your madness offer me some words to balance out what I see and what I hear.
