worldly rather than spiritual... the "god" of nature is spiritual regardless of religion... it is metaphysical and not worldly; therefore, it cannot be secular.
the world is technologically advanced enough, but the methods to do so are not in place and that would require time to produce the food... they can trade amongst themselves all they like but I don't think they want to revert to agrarian societies...
