| In the Lord's prayer, Jesus teaches us to pray " and deliver us from evil". I agree that evil is the privation of Good (GOD) and that reality exists on Earth, therefore evil exists on Earth. I would suggest that not only are our actions potentially evil but storms, natural disasters, famine are also evil.
Evil has force. A small lie, a few untrue words, has a power to change things dramatically by causing physical and emotional pain in our Earthly experience, It remains to be seen whether evil exists beyond our earthly experience but we are asking to be delivered from....evil. |
