It depends on the Buddhist sect. Some sects are atheistic (no belief in god) while others are polytheistic (belief in multiple gods). Some teach of an afterlife, others of reincarnation, and others of no afterlife/reincarnation.
Many Buddhists are somewhat agnostic, though, simply because blind faith is often discouraged in Buddhism.
Back on topic... "Buddhism" generally
is considered a religion.
