That might explain why my type of nature is badly suited for faith. When it comes to mental battles, I hate falling back, especially from things whose uncertainty frustrates and confuses me. In such instances, I feel a need to master the complexity, to make it
obvious to me.
And so, in due course it seemed obvious to me religious accounts of reality were false.
