I generally experience deja vue as simply me knowing I've experienced a situation that brought about a similar line of thought as my current one. It's definitely weird, but I think it tends to be "I've already thought this" rather than "this has already happened".
I think that any Supernatural events are generally explainable by human beings' unending ability to decieve themselves.
