I would like to see the income, property and corporate tax replaced with the fair tax. But just because you don't like something doesn't mean its unconstitutional. Income taxes and the 16th amendment are constitutional.
Article I section 8 specifically give "Congress the right to collect Tax..."
Article V gives congress the power to amend the constitution, which includes creating new amendments.
Article VII give Congres the power to ratify the constition.
The 16th amendment specifically give Congress the "power to lay and collect taxes on income.."
There is also nothing that expresses or implies that the Government can not tax income. You would be hard pressed to find it.
It is similar to when people claim that abortion is unconstitutional. They are wrong. The constitution never addressed it. People will try to apply the equal protection clause, but the legislative intent and history didn't even consider abortion at the time.
