Me! (minus the girl and the smart part).
I promise that I would run all decisions by volconvo before making them.
Plus, I would be the first president that played video games...

You seem better informed than the average kids here, although many of us know quite a bit about what is wrong.. and have ideas of how to fix.. or at least get onto the correct road & direction.. it doesn't seem possible, not with the apathy & well.. really, ignorance of our people.

education make over!
But really, I think if politicians stopped treating people like five year olds, and the media started going beyond the snappy one liners, it would be a step in the right direction.
But first people have to grow up. To do that, we make people take an introductory course in government before voting. That and a politician that isn't afraid to tell it's public to act it's own age.

Quote by: ghook This is what pork barrel spending government spending for projects that are intended primarily to benefit particular constituents or campaign contributors (its different than other spending). It is pandering to a special interest in which the funds get diluted and wasted on projects that are purely political. |
It's specific right? Needs to fill the following requirements...
* Requested by only one chamber of Congress;
* Not specifically authorized;
* Not competitively awarded;
* Not requested by the President;
* Greatly exceeds the President’s budget request or the previous year’s funding;
* Not the subject of congressional hearings; or
* Serves only a local or special interest.[4]
Ok, next question, how did Obama and Hillary use pork barrel. Was it a road to nowhere, or was it something else?
