Those folks would shift the tide of domestic policy in favor of the working class and the poor people, and they would pursue a more peaceful solution to international conflicts.
If McCain wins then he would drag us down deeper into the endless war in Iraq, he would bring the nation closer to economic doomsday, and so after four years of "more bushism" the Republican Party would be so dissliked that it would take them 30 years to recover, giving the green light to Democrats and 3rd party canidates to win win win for years to come. The ONLY chance the Republicans have for survival of their party is if McCain should loose and then at least they can hope that Obama or Clinton would not keep their promises to bring about reform. | Wars help the economy after a while.
