In the beginning there was nothing. More importantly, nothing that didn't exist, and was simultaneously infinate.

Infinity, surely requires infinate probability, and thus every possibility must occur simultaneously at every point in infinity.

If this is true, what the hell is going on inside me? How can we percieve anything that appears to exist? How can there fail to be a God? How can there be a God?

We've been here many times before. Odd how topics repeat here... suppose it's due to the influx of new blood and the bleeding out of the pissed off old because they can't handling those who disagree with them.

So, to repeat myself, I disagree with your initial assumption: once upon a time there was nothing. I think there has always been something. (Actual many, many, many somethings.) What? I haven't the slightest notion. Once a "rock" dropped and the end result is where we are now. Where did it drop from and what was before that moment? We can speculate. We can bring the best scientific minds together. We can ask those who have faith. We can somehow combine the two. But in the end, we have only have somewhat well-informed speculation. at best.
