Wonder if there will be protests like there were for Harry Potter and The Golden Compass? Twilight (2008/I) - Synopsis |
From reading this, at first glance, it seems the difference here is between entertainment and belief. If someone is entertained by obvious fiction; and doesn't start worshiping vampires or men who become wolves ...then evil? (Why is it always MEN do that? Must be female chauvinists are responsible! Wait... the authors are mostly men. I'm so damn con-fuse-ed now!) Give me a break. While I recall limits on what one can worship, and what one can do... I don't recall any quotes where God says one can't imagine: except when it comes to sex and longing for what others own. I admit, I always found even that quite odd: and probably inserted by men into God's mouth. (I'm chuckling now at my own unintended perv-istic words.) Imagination is a great way to keep one from doing wrong.
