OK, but...I would just like to point out that you quoted me and attributed it to gela. I am not gela and gela is not me. I'm not even sure how gela would feel about being credited with (or blamed for, as the case may be) my statements. I think it is quite likely that gela and I are different in gender.

Ah! I think you're right. Except for the fact that the Deists rejected the whole 6 days mythology, they did believe that the deity created the universe and then withdrew, taking little further interest in the universe. That's a bit like resting on the 7th day, isn't it?
