| My 16 yr old daughter is the arm wrestling champion of her AFJROTC group, including the boys. She out-benches a good number of them, as well.
Granted, she's *one* girl, and is perhaps be the exception rather than the rule, but the fact remains there are plenty of exceptions, in both directions, in both genders.
On the *whole* women have smaller hands than men. That should make them preferable as gynecologists, and yet there are *thousands* of women who prefer a MALE gynecologist, and I don't think it's for the fantasies they trigger while having a pap smear.
I will absolutely agree that men and women are wired AND built differently, speaking in generalizations. However, as there is a *wide* spectrum of abilities, I prefer to decide on a case by case basis, and gender rarely comes into the decision.
And *none* of this makes "liberated women" the cause of the downfall of society. That sounds like something out of John Norman's fantasy books. |
