Very hard question .There is no quick solution. To take care the ideological and social problem the education should be the answer of course it's a slow process. Educated persons could take of themselves and improve their economic situation and of course they wouldn't believe to religious propaganda of the cleric. It can take a generation or two. But meantime the democratic countries should not show their weakness because such ideologies want to spread their virus to the world.
