Our society is overly obsessed with cleanliness, IMO. There have been studies done showing that we've only weakened our biological defenses against disease by constantly bathing, washing hands, wasting water.
And could a fear of being labelled as part of the "filthy underclass" be buttressing this insanity? I mean, consider that you went out of your way to say "unwashed HOMELESS nudist"... why not unwashed nudist? Hmmmmmm...
I think we should be more afraid of the people that bombard us with the images of perfection (which, I'll remind you, come partly from the use of the airbrush!) rather than the classes suffering beneath their heels. And I think we should really reconsider the belief that we will only be safer from disease if we keep mixing toxins with lots of water and washing it down the bathtub drain. We need to keep our priorities straight... if we don't have any more clean water, we're gonna be more worried about dehydrating or poisoning ourselves than whether or not we have got all the "germs" off our pretty hands.
And last, but not least, I think we should let individual communities decide whether or not they want to run around nekked. If you're afraid they're gonna rub their butt germs on "your" seat, then find another community. I don't think laws should play any role in a free society.
I voted yes.
