Especially in 'bible belt' USA, where the majorty of 'good' Christians take the King James bibile as law, in a literalistic sense, thus, by lack of perfect transliteration from Hebrew and Greek undermining their own perceptions of Christianity and their place in the religion.
I'm sure this is true of other religions elsewhere.
