| The Al Qaeda take over of Iraq is Political Billsh!t! Al Qaeda just put out a message today of its desire to stop Iran and the Shiite movement and this is not the first time. Al Qaeda are sunni and Iran, Hezbollah and 3/4 of Iraq are Shia. The Bush administration keeps stating that Iraq will be a Al Qaeda haven when we leave and in the same breathe that Iran will increase its influence over Iraq and the Shia Militias will take over.
Are people not smart enough to see the hyprocracy in that assessment. Does the Bush administration not see it. Get this straight Al Qaeda are religious extremist that believe in only Sunni Muslim. They are ideological opposites of the Shia majority in Iraq, Iran and Hezbollah. They hate each other as much as they hate America.
I have no disillusions that when we leave Iraq it will be the scene of one of the bloodiest civil wars in global history and migh engulf the whole reason. I have no doubt that there will be Rwanda style killing fields. But I have huge skeptism that an enemy of Al Qaeda, mainly Iran, Hezbollah and the Iraqi Shia majority are going to give a safe haven to Al Qaeda. The connection is not logical. |
