Of course there will always be a reason that a person would want to provoke a war, but as I said before, without the people's support, their efforts would be futile. | The Vietnam war was about power. The U.S. felt a need to stop the spread of states easily influenced by the Soviets and Red China. Religion was part of why americans hated communism, but the cold war was a conflict of nations for power.
