| Regardless of whether China's current policies are favorable or unfavorable, it's China's issue and prerogative, not America's.
Though we may have our own views on the issue, we shouldn't place any coercion or urge for any action. China needs to deal with this on its own; given that the favorable option would be to free Tibet, China needs to come to that realization and implement it, not the United States.
