This is exactly why I dislike university academics and their theories. They only believe something if its backed up by a bunch of depressing statistics and other technical jargon.
What I find ironic is that many of these "business analysts" have never run a business in their life. Yet they insist they are right simply because they are good at coming up with numbers.
What do statistics determine? Very little. I could say 92.935249% of business owners fail after 12.2352 years, but so what? It only serves to discourage people from entering business.
Creativity, determination, and goals are the factors which drive you to success. Creativity comes up with crazy ideas that just might work. Determination drives you to learn other skills essential to business. Goals give you something to aim for.
Geoff, if failed business owners did have the same determination as Donald Trump, then surely they would not have failed. They would have got up again and again and again, until they succeeded.
Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you. |
