| I think that the question needs to be defined a little more. It's definitely important to regulate the internet where there are an overwhelming number of web sites that have viruses and inappropriate material in them. On the other hand, we have the 1st amendment that guarantees the freedom of speech, if we take that a little further, then it guarantees the freedom of expression of thought. In general, however, I believe that regulation is needed--BUT, the citizens of whatever country must approve of the limits and details of the regulation before the execution. |
