You are saying that religion is not needed. What would life be without religion? Doesn't that essentially kill alll hopes and dreams? What about big questions like how did we get here or what comes after death?
It seems to me that even if religion isn't scientifically/physically needed, it would come about anyways, no matter what, simply because humanity thinks about the purpose of life and things like that.
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
