First off, if you work on a Sunday, according to Exodus 35:2, you should be put to death. Exodus 21:1-7 are the rules of owning a slave. Leviticus 11:7 says not only can you eat pork, you can't play football (made from pigs skin). Can't plant crops side by side, and you can't wear cloths made from two different threads. I'm going to guess you've broken one of the above laws a couple of times so even you probably don't follow all the rules of the Bible or know all of them.

Second, there are a many contradictions in the Bible ranging from Family tree:
MT 1:16 Jacob was Joseph's father.
LK 3:23 Heli was Joseph's father.

to underlying meaning:
MT 5:39, MT 5:44 Do not resist evil. Love your enemies.
LK 19:27 God is likened to one who destroys his enemies.

to memos:
MT 7:1-2 Do not judge.
MT 7:15-20 Instructions for judging a false prophet.

to vivid narrations:
MT 27:5 Judas hanged himself.
AC 1:18 He fell headlong, burst open, and his bowels gushed out.

Third, certain statements defy science. Not evolution, but rather that the sun revolves around the earth which standing upon pillars. And that monsters guard the edge of the sea.

Finally your logic on the Bible creates a loop.

If the Bible must be taken literally
Matthew 5
18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Then how can we literally take this statement:

"In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away."
Hebrew 8:13

Your logic means everything must be true, except if everything is true then the old covenant is obsolete, which can't be true because everything about the Bible is true, except if everything is true, the old covalent is obsolete...

A logical circle. However if you take my meaning saying that not everything in the Bible is literal and some has a deeper meaning, then the Bible makes logical sense.

For the purposes of the thread, we have to assume it's true...

I'm siding with Will on this.
Sorry, was thinking of another thread when I wrote that

SIN CERA, as always.
