| Not really. You have to take things in their context, and since I know the historical and cultural context of Japan, it doesn't bother me. Unlike some, I don't see people who disagree with me or come from different schools of thought as being antagonists. I'm fascinated by the differences and I like to learn about them.
And doesn't Ed find out that equivalent exchange doesn't always happen?
The vast majority of anime isn't overtly anti-faith. In fact, by your line of reasoning, since I don't really see many that directly address atheism, (in fact, many concern Buddhism or Shinto) I could say that it's anti-atheism. But that's only if I use your flawed logic.
