| Objectivism is more of an ideology than a philosophy however -- it doesn't really have the capacity for self-orientated meta-philosophy, aka, is non-ironic -- unlike certain aspects of Sophism, Socratism, existentialism, pragmatism, continentalism, analytics, and (I hesitate to mention) postmodernism, etc, it isn't organic enough to grow or adapt -- it is a machine.
A moral being is an entity for whom the disadvantage of others is an issue.
